The Rapid Survival System is the most important advancement for Professional Rescue in many years.
Developed with a group of SAR professionals, the RSS is designed to provide rapid and significant additional floatation and assistance for rescuers in potentially threatening situations.
When was the last time you practised or even just watched, setting up a mechanical advantage system?
North Water is very proud of this and pleased to be part of helping keep officers safe and sound.
Rick Mercer reports on the good people of the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue who donate time to keep people safe on the water. Of course they put Rick in the best PFD available; it just happened to be a North Water PFD.
We are excited to announce that after months of trials and tests the RCMP have chosen us to provide them with the NW "Pro 30 Rescue PFD". We have built systems for other police forces that use soft body armor, but the RCMP had a new set of challenges. We had to fit and float hard body armor. We are pleased to be working with officers in the field to fine tune and design external features to accommodate the environments and operations they encounter. <
